Okra and Corn Etouffee

Recipe Introduction
Okra, pepper, onions, celery and corn smothered in a spicy tomatoe sauce.
We tried this and it was very tasty. Included is the recipe for Cajun spice mix.
List of Ingredients
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon butter
2 ribs celery, chopped
1 large onion chopped
1 medium green pepper, chopped
1 jalepeno pepper, chopped
3 cups okra, sliced
1½ cups fresh or frozen corn
1 can tomatoes
1 tablespoon tomato paste
½ tsp. sugar
½ cup veg. broth
1½ cups uncooked long grain rice
1 tablespoon cajun spice mix
(Cajun Spice Mix Recipe:)
2½ tablespoons paprika
2 tablespoons salt
2 tablespoons garlic powder
1 tablespoon ground black pepper
1 tablespoon onion powder
1 tablespoon cayenne pepper
1 tablespoon oregeno
1 tablespoon dried thyme
Recipe
Heat oil and butter in large skillet. Add onion, celery, bell pepper and chili pepper. Saute ten minutes, then add corn and okra and saute 7 minutes. Add can tomatoes, spice and sugar and saute 5 minutes.
Stir in broth and bring to boil. Turn heat to low and simmer 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Prepare rice and serve etoufee over it.
