    Chocolate Cheese Fudge

    List of Ingredients


    • 1/2 lb velveeta cheese
    • 1 cup (2 sticks) butter
    • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
    • 1 cup chopped pecans
    • 2 (16 oz) boxes of confectioner's sugar
    • 1/2 cup cocoa


    Instructions


    1. Spray lightly the bottom of a 9 x 2" square pan with non stick spray.


    2. Over medium heat, in a saucepan, melt cheese and butter together, stirring constantly until smooth.


    3. Add vanilla and nuts.


    4. In a large bowl, sift together sugar and cocoa.


    5. Pour cheese mixture into sugar cocoa mixture, stirring until completely mixed.


    6. Candy will be very stiff.


    7. Using your hands, remove candy from bowl and press evenly and firmly into pan. Because of the amount of butter in this recipe (which you must use), use a paper towel to to pat the top of the candy to remove any excess oil.


    8. Chill for at least 30 minutes and cut into squares.



    Final Comments


    For peanut butter fudge leave out the cocoa and add one cup of creamy peanuter butter.
