    Pecan Pie

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 cup sugar
    • 1/2 cup butter
    • 3 eggs
    • 1 cup white corn syrup
    • 1 1/2 cup chopped pecans
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla
    • 1/4 teaspoon salt
    • 1 deep dish pie shell


    Instructions


    1. Cream butter and sugar together.


    2. Add eggs one at a time, stirring thoroughly after each addition.


    3. Blend in syrup, pecans, vanilla and salt.


    4. Pour in pie shell and bake at 300 degrees for 30 minutes and then 350 degrees for 30 minutes.


    5. Pie should "jiggle" in the middle. If not it over cooked.
