Pecan Pie

- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup white corn syrup
- 1 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 deep dish pie shell
Instructions
- Cream butter and sugar together.
- Add eggs one at a time, stirring thoroughly after each addition.
- Blend in syrup, pecans, vanilla and salt.
- Pour in pie shell and bake at 300 degrees for 30 minutes and then 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
- Pie should "jiggle" in the middle. If not it over cooked.
