    Source of Recipe

    Betty A Young

    List of Ingredients

    • 1 Tablespoon - sour cream

    • 8 ounce package of cream cheese (softened)
    • 1/2 pound shredded chedder cheese
    • 1/4 cup finely chopped pecans
    • 1 Tablespoon ground cayenne pepper (optional)

    Instructions

    1. Mix the sour cream with ranch dressing mix in a bowl until smoothly combined.

      Add cayenne pepper, combine.

    2. Add the cream cheese and Cheddar cheese to the bowl, and mix together with your hands until thoroughly blended.

    3. Chill the mixture for 5 minutes, then shape into a ball.

    4. Place the pecans into a shallow bowl, and roll all sides of the cheese ball in the pecans to coat.

      Serve immediately.

    Final Comments

These are good with butter crackers or the red pepper seasoned crackers. If you use the red pepper crackers I would omit the cayenne.
