Basic Cheese Sauce

List of Ingredients
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 2 tbsp. flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Melt butter in saucepan over medium heat.
- Whisk in flour and cook until the flour loses some of its white color.
- Slowly whisk in milk.
- Cook until the sauce thickens and add the cheese and seasoning.
Final Comments
If sauce is too thick, thin with additional milk.
