    • 1 cup finely chopped celery
    • 1 medium onion finely chopped
    • 1/2 cup butter or margarine

    • 1/2 teaspoon salt
    • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
    • 8 cups dried bread cubes
    • 3/4 cups chicken broth
    • 1 pound chestnuts

    Instructions

    1. In a saucepan cook celery and onion in butter or margarine till tender but not brown. Remove from heat; stir in sage, salt, and pepper. Place the dry bread cubes in a large mixing bowl. Add the celery mixture. drizzle with enough broth to moisten, tossing lightly. Use to stuff one 10 pound turkey.
