    Easy Strawberry Shortcake

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 loaf poundcake
    • 3 cups of strawberries, hulled and sliced
    • 1 cup heavy cream
    • 3 Tbls. powdered sugar
    • 1 tsp. vanilla


    Instructions


    1. Using a potato masher, mash 1/2 of the strawberries.
    2. Stir in the sliced strawberries and chill.
    3. Beat cream with powdered sugar and vanilla.
    4. Slice pound cake and top with strawberry mixture and a dollop of cream.
