    Hot Spinach Dip

    List of Ingredients




    2 packages (10 ounces each) frozen chopped spinach
    1/4 cup margarine, melted
    2 tablespoons chopped onion
    3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
    ½ cup evaporated milk
    1 roll (6 ounces) jalapeno cheese, softened
    3/4 teaspoon celery salt
    3/4 teaspoon garlic salt
    1/2 teaspoon pepper
    1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
    Dash red pepper
    Crackers




    Recipe



    Cook spinach according to package directions; drain well, reserving 1/2 cup liquid. Set aside. Combine margarine, onion, and flour; stir and cook over medium flame about 1 minute. Gradually add reserved spinach liquid and evaporated milk; cook until slightly thickened, stirring constantly. Add cheese and seasonings to sauce, stirring until cheese is melted. Add spinach, mixing well. Serve hot with crackers. Makes about 1 3/4 cups.
