    Canadian Bacon Puff

    List of Ingredients



    16 pieces white bread, crusts removed
    8 oz. cheddar cheese
    8 slices canadian bacon
    6 eggs, beaten
    4 c. milk
    2 t. salt
    1/4 t. white pepper

    Recipe



    Butter the bread slices. Generously butter a 9x13 inch baking dish. Arrange 8 slices of the bread in the dish. Cut the cheese into 8 slices. Place a piece of cheese over each slice of bread. Place a slice of Canadian bacon over the cheese. Top with the remaining bread slices. Combine eggs, milk, salt, and white pepper and mix well. Pour over the bread. Cover and refrigerate overnight.

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place the baking dish in a water bath. Bake for approximately one hour, or until puffed and brown. Cut into 8 squares.
