STACKED TACOS
List of Ingredients
2 lbs. ground beef
15 oz. can tomato sauce
28 oz. can diced tomatoes
2 cups salsa
1 can tomato soup
2 tablespoons taco seasoning mix
corn tortillas
grated cheddar cheese
chopped lettuce
sliced olives
sour cream
Recipe
Brown ground beef in skillet. Drain fat. In a large saucepan, add tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, salsa, tomato soup, and seasoning mix. Stir well. Add ground beef and simmer for approximately one hour to blend flavors.
Heat a small amount of cooking oil in a skillet. Quickly dip each tortilla shell in the hot oil and drain on a paper towel.
To Serve: Place a tortilla shell on each plate. Add approximately 1/4 cup sauce mixture on each tortilla. Sprinkle with cheese. Place another tortilla on each and add more sauce, and cheese. Repeat once again. You should have a stack of three layers. Top with lettuce, olives, and a dollop of sour cream.
