    Pasta w/ Garlic Shrimp & Broccoli




    List of Ingredients




    1 1/2 Tablespoons butter or margarine
    1 1/2 Tablespoons flour
    1 1/2 cups milk -- lowfat okay
    1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
    1 1/2 Tablespoons pesto sauce
    1 1/2 Tablespoons chopped parsley
    3 cloves garlic -- minced
    2 Tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese -- lowfat okay
    1 teaspoon salt
    1/2 teaspoon white pepper
    1 dash Worcestershire sauce
    1 dash hot sauce
    1 Tablespoon butter or margarine
    1 pound jumbo shrimp, raw,peeled,deveined
    3 cloves garlic, minced
    1 teaspoon salt
    2 cups broccoli florets, prepared as directed
    1 1/2 cups angel hair pasta, prepared as directed

    Recipe



    Melt butter in saucepan.
    Stir in flour and cook for 2 minutes.
    Slowly stir in milk and cream and simmer, stirring constantly, until thickened.
    Add pesto sauce, parsley, garlic, Parmesan, salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, and hot sauce to saucepan, reduce heat, and keep sauce warm.
    Melt butter in skillet.
    Add shrimp and garlic, sprinkle with salt, and saute for 5 minutes or until shrimp are pink.
    Toss shrimp, broccoli, and pasta together and pour sauce over top.
