Grilled Pineapple Burgers
List of Ingredients
2 lbs. lean gound beef
3 Tbsp. Italian salad dressing
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 can (15oz.) sliced pineapple, drained
8 slices bacon
1 cup barbecue sauce
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup honey or molasses
1 1/2 Tbsp. fresh squeezed lemon juice
Recipe
Mix ground beef, salad dressing, salt and pepper. Shape into 8 patties. Press pineapple slice into each patty. Wrap each with a bacon slice. Secure with a wooden pick. Mix remaining ingrediants. Place patties in glass dish in a single layer. Pour sauce over patties. Cover and refrigerate at least 2 hours. Grill patties pineapple side down 4 inches from heat, 12 to 15 minutes. Turn; brush with sauce. Grill 10 to 15 minutes. Heat reamining sauce and serve with patties.
