    Cream of Turkey and Wild Rice Soup

    List of Ingredients



    6 T. butter
    4 T. flour
    2 c. half & half
    3 c. turkey broth
    1 c. chopped turkey
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/2 c. sliced celery
    1 1/2 c. cooked wild rice
    Salt and pepper
    Thinly sliced blanched carrots

    Recipe



    Melt the butter in a saucepan. Blend in flour and cook for two minutes without burning. Slowly add the half and half and 1 cup broth whisking constantly. Bring to a boil and cook for a few minutes. Add the remaining broth, turkey, onion, celery, and the wild rice. Season with the salt and pepper and simmer for 30 minutes. Garnish with carrots.
