Cranberry Dressing
List of Ingredients
1 1/2 cups chicken stock
1 (7 ounce) box wild pecan aromatic rice
1/4 C butter
1/2 C chicken gizzards
2 onions, chopped
3 stalks celery, chopped
1 apple, peeled and diced
Cajun seasoning to taste
3/4 C pecans, chopped
3/4 C sweetened dried cranberries
Recipe
Preheat your oven to 350°. Cook the rice in the chicken broth until tender, about 20 minutes. Cook the gizzards in oil with the onion, celery, and apple until gizzards are done and vegetables are soft. Season as you cook. Stir in the pecans, cranberries and the rice. Mix well and bake for 20 minutes until brown on top and heated through.
