    1 Lg egg
    3/4 C milk
    1 C flour
    1 tsp baking powder
    1/8 tsp cinnamon
    powdered sugar

    In electric skillet heat 1 1/2 - 2" oil to 360º Mix first 5 ingredients, pour into a funnel. Starting in center of skillet, drop batter into hot oil; move funnel to make snake-like coils. Fry, turning once, about 2 minutes on each side. Drain on paper towels. Sprinkle with sugar. Serve warm.

    The trick to this recipe is keeping the funnel tip plugged until you've got it over the hot oil. Just use your finger.
