Mom's Pumpkin Bread
List of Ingredients
3-1/2 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1-1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
3 c. sugar
4 eggs, beaten
2/3 c. water
1 c. vegetable oil
15 oz. can pumpkin (2 cups)
1 c. chopped pecansRecipe
Combine flour, soda. salt, cinnamon, nutmeg and sugar. Make a well and add liquid ingredients. Stir until well blended. Add nuts and mix. Pour mixture into 3 greasted and floured 1 lb. coffe cans and 1 pumpkin can. Bake 1 hour, 350 degrees. Cool slightly in cans, turn out on rack to finish cooling.
