    Russian Tea Cakes

    List of Ingredients




    1 c. butter (half shortening)
    1/2 c. powdered sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2-1/4 c. sifted flour
    3/4 c. chopped pecans

    Recipe



    Cream butter, add sugar, salt and vanilla. Work in flour using a fork when dough begins to get thick; add nuts. Roll in small balls. Bake at 400 degrees, 14-17 minutes. Roll in powdered sugar while hot, then again in powdered sugar when cool.
