    BARS, RASPBERRY-CHEESE BREAKFAST

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 1/4 C. quick cooking oats
    • 1/2 C. packed brown sugar
    • 1 C. flour
    • 1 C. raspberry jam
    • 1 C. sugar
    • 1//3 C. sugar
    • 1 C. flaked coconut
    • 1 egg
    • 1 C. chopped nuts
    • 1 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese
    • 3/4 C. oleo, softened


    Instructions


    1. Heat oven to 350 degrees.

    2. Mix oats, flour, 1 C. Sugar, coconut, nuts, oleo and brown sugar until crumbly; reserve 1 1/2 cups.

    3. Pat remaining crumbly mixture in ungreased 9X13 pan.

    4. Bake 15 minutes; cool 5 minutes. Spread with jam.

    5. Mix 1/3 C. Sugar, the egg and cream cheese; pour over jam.

    6. Sprinkle with reserved crumbly mixture.

    7. Bake until top is golden brown, 20-25 minutes; cool.

    8. Cut into bars about 2 X 2 1/2 inches.
