    List of Ingredients


    • 2 1/3 C. Flour
    • 1 1/3 C. sugar
    • 3/4 t. salt
    • 3/4 C. Crisco
    • 2 T. baking powder
    • 3/4 C. milk
    • 2 eggs
    • 1 t. vanilla
    • 1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
    • 1 (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
    • 1/3 C. lemon juice
    • 2 t. cinnamon, divided
    • 1 (29 oz) can sliced peaches, well drained and chopped or 1 (21 oz) can apple pie filling
    • 1 C. chopped nuts, divided
    • 1/3 C. firmly packed brown sugar


    Instructions


    1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

    2. In large bowl combine flour, sugar and salt

    3. Cut in shortening until crumbly. Reserve 1 C. crumb mixture.

    4. To remaining crumb mixture, add baking powder, milk, eggs and vanilla. Beat on medium speed 2 minutes.

    5. Spread into greased 9X13 pan. Bake 25 minutes or until set.

    6. In small bowl, beat cream cheese until fluffy. Gradually beat in condensed milk, stir in lemon juice and peaches/apples, 1/2 C. nuts and 1 t. cinnamon.

    7. In medium bowl, combine reserved crumb mixture, remaining 1/2 C. nuts, 1 t. cinnamon and brown sugar.

    8. Spoon peach/apple mixture evenly on top of cake.

    9. Sprinkle with crumb mixture.

    10. Bake 35 minutes or until set.

    11. Cool or serve warm.
