FUDGE, GRANDMOTHER RHODES'

Recipe Introduction


The Rhodes family fixed popcorn quite often, this fudge always went with the popcorn. Stephen became proficient at making this fudge.





List of Ingredients



• 2 C. sugar
  
• 1/2 C. white syrup
  
• 1/3 C. milk
  
• 5 T. cocoa
  
• 1/2 t. salt
  
• 2 T. oleo
  
• 1 t. vanilla
  






Instructions



1. Mix sugar, syrup, milk, cocoa and salt. Bring to boil (238°, hard ball stage) Add oleo and vanilla, cool, beat until glossy. Pour in dish and cut into squares.
