CARROT COOKIES
List of Ingredients
- 3/4 C. sugar
- 1 C. shortening
- 1 egg
- 1 C. cook carrots mashed fine (I use sliced, canned carrots)
- 2 t. baking powder
- 1/2 t. salt
- 1 t. vanilla
Instructions
- Combine ingredients and bake on ungreased sheet, 350 degrees, 12 to 15 minutes.
- Frost with: Juice of 1 orange, grated rind, dash of salt, powdered sugar to thicken, and about a tablespoon of shortening.
