    CHOCOLATE MARSHMALLOW COOKIES

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 egg
    • 1 C. sugar
    • 1/2 C. shortening
    • 1/2 t. vanilla
    • 1/4 C. milk
    • 13/4 C. flour
    • 1/2 C. cocoa
    • 1/2 t. baking powder
    • 1/2 t. salt
    • small marshmallows
    • Frosting:
    • 7 T. brown sugar
    • 4 T. evaporated milk (or I used regular milk)
    • 3 T. oleo
    • 1 C. powdered sugar
    • 2 T. cocoa
    • ½ t. vanilla


    Instructions


    1. Cream egg, sugar and shortening

    2. Add vanilla and milk

    3. Blend in flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt

    4. Bake 6-8 minutes at 350 degrees

    5. Press small marshmallow in center and bake 3 minutes more.

    6. Frosting:

    7. Boil brown sugar, milk and oleo

    8. Add powdered sugar, cocoa and vanilla
