CHOCOLATE MARSHMALLOW COOKIES

List of Ingredients
- 1 egg
- 1 C. sugar
- 1/2 C. shortening
- 1/2 t. vanilla
- 1/4 C. milk
- 13/4 C. flour
- 1/2 C. cocoa
- 1/2 t. baking powder
- 1/2 t. salt
- small marshmallows
- Frosting:
- 7 T. brown sugar
- 4 T. evaporated milk (or I used regular milk)
- 3 T. oleo
- 1 C. powdered sugar
- 2 T. cocoa
- ½ t. vanilla
Instructions
- Cream egg, sugar and shortening
- Add vanilla and milk
- Blend in flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt
- Bake 6-8 minutes at 350 degrees
- Press small marshmallow in center and bake 3 minutes more.
- Frosting:
- Boil brown sugar, milk and oleo
- Add powdered sugar, cocoa and vanilla
