CHICKEN SANDWICH, BAKED

List of Ingredients
- 16 slices bread, crust removed
- 1/2 C. butter, to butter bread
- 1/4 lb. fresh mushrooms
- 2 T. butter
- 2 C. cooked chicken, cubed (1 lb.crab blend can be substituted for chicken)
- 3 hard cooked eggs, chopped
- 1/3 C. ripe olives, sliced
- 3/4 C. mayo
- 2 T. onions, chopped
- 10 1/2 oz can Cream of Chicken soup, undiluted
- 1 C. sour cream
Instructions
- Place 8 slices bread in buttered 9X13 pan.
- Saute mushrooms in butter, cover bread with mixture of chicken, eggs, mushrooms, olives, mayo and onions.
- Cover with 8 slices of bread.
- Top with soup and sour cream. Sprinkle with paprika.
- Bake 40 minutes at 350 degrees.
