    BEEF, TACO SALAD (really good)

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 lb cooked hamburger
    • 1/2 C. ketchup
    • 1 t. Oregano
    • 1 t. chili powder
    • 1/2 t. salt
    • 1/4 t. pepper
    • 1 medium head of lettuce, chopped
    • 2 medium tomatoes, chopped
    • 1 C. shredded Taco Cheese
    • 1 (2 1/2 oz) can sliced olives
    • 1/2 C. mayo
    • 1/4 C. taco sauce
    • 1 pkg. taco corn chips


    Instructions


    1. Cook beef, drain.

    2. Stir in ketchup, oregano, chili pwdr, sale and pepper.

    3. Reduce heat, cover and simmer 10 minutes

    4. In salad bowl, combine chopped lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, olives and beef mixture.

    5. Combine mayo and taco sauce.

    6. Pour over salad and toss to coat.

    7. Sprinkle with crushed corn chips just before serving.



    Final Comments


    Wait until the last minute for the chips or they will get soggy.
