    BEEF BRISKET

    List of Ingredients


    • -------Place brisket in pan, sprinkle until white with:
    • garlic salt
    • onion salt
    • seasoned salt
    • accent
    • black pepper
    • nutmeg
    • ------BBQ Sauce:
    • 1 C. catsup
    • 3/4 C. brown sugar
    • 1/2 t. nutmeg
    • 1 t. dry mustard
    • 3 T. Worcestershire Sauce
    • 2 T. lemon juice


    Instructions


    1. Let brisket, covered with seasonings, stand 2 hours at room temperature.

    2. Cover with cold water and simmer 3 hours.

    3. Leave in liquid and refrigerate overnight.

    4. Discard liquid and trim fat. Slice thin (not with grain).

    5. Serve plain, or place in dish and cover with BBQ sauce.

    6. Bake at 350 degrees, 1 hour covered.
