    TOAST CUPS


    List of Ingredients


    • Slices of thinly sliced whole wheat bread
    • 2/3 C. butter, melted


    Instructions


    1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
    2. With a 2" cookie cutter, cut rounds of bread.
    3. Brush both sides with melted butter and press into muffin pan cups so that the sides are coming up.
    4. Bake 10 - 15 minutes or until brown on the edges.
    5. Store lightly covered at room temperature.
    6. To serve fill each cup with 2 T. heaping of filling.
    7. Filling can be creamed vegetable, fresh or stewed fruit, stewed dried fruit, custard, pudding, etc.
