TOAST CUPS
List of Ingredients
- Slices of thinly sliced whole wheat bread
- 2/3 C. butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- With a 2" cookie cutter, cut rounds of bread.
- Brush both sides with melted butter and press into muffin pan cups so that the sides are coming up.
- Bake 10 - 15 minutes or until brown on the edges.
- Store lightly covered at room temperature.
- To serve fill each cup with 2 T. heaping of filling.
- Filling can be creamed vegetable, fresh or stewed fruit, stewed dried fruit, custard, pudding, etc.
