WILD RICE
Judy Meinholdt's, good substitute for potatoes
List of Ingredients
- 1 C. uncooked wild rice (I used a small box of Uncle Ben's long and wild rice)
- 2 T. green onion, chopped
- 1 (8 oz) can mushroom stems, drained
- 3 C. chicken broth or water/bullion
- 1'4 C. oleo
Instructions
- Melt butter, add rice and flavor packs, onions and mushrooms.
- Cook and stir 15 - 20 minutes.
- Stir in rice mixture. Cover tightly for 1 1/2 hours or until moisture is absorbed in preheated oven at 325 degrees.
