    LETTUCE, LAYERED SALAD

    It's a meal in itself.


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 head lettuce, torn into bite sized pieces
    • 1 (10 oz) pkg frozen peas, not thawed
    • 1 C. diced celery
    • 1/2 C. diced green pepper
    • 8 slices bacon, cooked & crumbled or bacon bits
    • 4 eggs, hard cooked, sliced
    • 2 C. mayonnaise or low cal dressing
    • 2 T. sugar
    • 4 oz grated cheddar cheese


    Instructions


    1. Place lettuce in 9X13 glass dish.

    2. Layer peas, celery, green pepper, bacon and sliced eggs.

    3. Combine mayonnaise and sugar. Spread on top sealing edges.

    4. Sprinkle 4 oz grated cheddar cheese over top.

    5. Cover and refrigerate at least 8 - 12 hours before serving.
