BEEF, PLAZA III STEAK SOUP

List of Ingredients
- 1 stick oleo
- 1 C. flour
- 8 C. water
- 2 C. (1 lb) ground beef (cubed roast or sirloin steak)
- 1 C. each; onions, carrots and celery which have been cubed and parboiled.
- 2 C. frozen mixed vegetables
- 1 can tomatoes (blended)
- 1 T. accent
- 2 T. beef concentrate
- 1 t. black pepper
Instructions
- Melt 1 stick oleo and whip in 1 C. flour to make a smooth paste.
- Stir in 8 C. water. (I microwave for 30 seconds and stir to cook mixture a little)
- Saute ground beef/cubed steak, add to flour mixture.
- Add vegetables (when I make this in a crockpot I don't parboil the vegetables.)
- Add frozen vegetables, tomatoes, accent, beef concentrate, and black pepper.
- Bring to boil, reduce to simmer to cook until veg. are done.
Final Comments
Good recipe for crockpot.
