    POTATOES, PARTY

    Recipe Introduction


    Easy potato dish for a crowd


    List of Ingredients


    • 5 lbs. Potatoes, peeled
    • 1/2 pint sour cream
    • 1 (8-oz) pkg cream cheese
    • 2 T. Oleo
    • 1/4 t. Pepper
    • 1 t. Salt
    • 1/8 t. Garlic salt
    • paprika


    Instructions


    1. Cook potatoes until tender. Drain and mash until smooth. (Or use instant)

    2. Add sour cream, cream cheese, oleo, pepper and salt. Beat until light and fluffy.

    3. Place in greased 2-quart casserole and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

    4. Swirl potatoes with back of spoon to make a circular pattern and sprinkle with paprika. Place briefly under broiler to brown.

    5. Can be refrigerated for 2 weeks or frozen.



    Final Comments


    Fresh onion may also be sauteed in butter and added.
    Dish may be served in a hollow pumpkin or squash.
