    I went to this lady's yard sale. She had a ton of recipes she had collected and no one was buying them. I started looking through them and we started talking. I ended up buying the whole lot; here was a loving collection of hand copied and pasted recipes of a life well lived.

    List of Ingredients




    Chocolate Chip Dip Cake
    This is one for the kids to make!

    1 bag of store bought chocolate chip cookies
    1 8 oz. glass of milk ( I use whole milk for this)
    1 8oz. container of Cool Whip

    Recipe



    Use an 8" square pan for this dish.
    Dunk a cookie in the glass of milk. Place it in the pan.
    complete one layer. Spread softened Cool whip over the layer of cookies. Repeat until all the cookies are used and you have about 4 layers of the dessert. The last layer should be Cool Whip.
    Cover and refrigerate for a few hours. Cut and serve on plates.
    Surprisingly good! I ahve no idea where Helen got this recipe. It was copied down on a 3x5 card in her hand.
    The hardest thing about this is not eating the cookies as you are putting it all together!
