Deep Dish Peach Custard Streusel Pie

- 1 unbaked 9 inch deep dish pie shell
- 3 1/2 cups peeled, pitted, sliced peaches
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1-3 tsp lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- dash nutmeg
- Streusel Topping
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1/3 cup flour
- 1/3 cup chopped nuts
- 2 tbsp butter
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425F
- Arrange peaches in shell.
- Combine other ingredients except topping in large mixing bowl. Beat until smooth.
- Pour filling over peaches.
- Bake 10 minutes.
- Meanwhile, combine streusel ingredients. Cut with pastry knife or two knives until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Sprinkle with streusel topping.
- Reduce heat to 350F and bake additional 55 to 60 minutes or until knife in centre comes out clean.
- Cool on wire rack.
