Apple Streudel Coffee Cake

List of Ingredients



• 1 pkg yellow or white cake mix (2 layer size)
  
• 1 can peach or apple pie filling (21 oz)
  
• 3 eggs
  
• 1/2 tsp vanilla
  
• 1/2 cup chopped nuts (pecans or walnuts)
  
• Topping:
  
• 1/2 cup sugar
  
• 1/2 cup flour
  
• 1/4 cup margarine/butter
  
• 1/2 tsp vanilla
  






Instructions



1. Combine all cake ingredients (cake mix, nuts, pie filling, eggs) stirring until well mixed
   
   
2. Pour into greased 9x13 pan
   
   
3. Combine all topping ingredients with a pastry blender.
   
   
4. Sprinkle topping over cake.
   
   
5. Bake at 350 for 40-45 minutes.
   
   






Final Comments


If I'm using apple pie filling, I usually add a few sprinkles of cinnamon to the cake mix and the topping.
