Layered Pecan Pie

List of Ingredients
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/3 cup sugar
- dash salt
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1 unbaked 9 inch pie shell
- 1 1/4 cup chopped pecans
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup light corn syrup
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
Instructions
- To prepare 1st layer, preheat oven to 375.
- In large bowl, combine cream cheese, sugar and salt.
- Beat until smooth.
- Add eggs and vanilla.
- Stir until combined
- Spoon into pie shell.
- Sprinkle with pecans.
- To prepare 2nd layer, in medium bowl, combine eggs, corn syrup and vanilla.
- Beat well, pour over pecans.
- Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until set.
Final Comments
had to bake a little longer than recommended. Very yummy!
