Pumpkin Pie Dessert

List of Ingredients
- 29 oz can pumpkin
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp ground ginger
- 4 beaten eggs
- 12 oz can evaporated milk
- 1 yellow cake mix (2 layer mix)
- 1 cup chopped nuts
- 3/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9x13 baking pan.
- In a large bowl, mix pumpkin, sugar, cinnamon, salt, nutmeg, and ginger. Add eggs.
- Beat lightly with wooden spoon until mixture is just combined.
- Gradually stir in evaporated milk. Mix well.
- Pour into prepared pan.
- Sprinkle dry cake mix evenly over pumpkin mixture. Sprinkle evenly with nuts.
- Drizzle with melted butter.
- Bake about 50 minutes or until edges are firm and top is golden.
- Cool in pan on wire rac.
- Cover and chill for at least 2 hours before serving.
- Store in fridge. Top with Cool Whip.
