this was posted at Nana's Kitchen from a cookbook someone had received as a gift recently and has become one of our favourite dinners
List of Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef or turkey
- 1 packet taco mix
- 15 oz tomato sauce
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 can green chilies, chopped
- 1 package tortilla shells
- 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
Instructions
- Brown ground beef/turkey and drain
- Add tomato sauce and taco mix. Stir well.
- Heat oven to 350
- In mixing bowl, combine mushroom soup, sour cream and green chilies.
- Spoon ground beef mixture into tortillas and fold tortillas by bringing bottom of tortilla over filling, fold the sides in and roll up.
- Place in a 9x13 pan
- top with soup and sour cream mixture - spread evenly.
- Top with shredded cheese
- Bake 20-25 minutes
Final Comments
Be careful not to burn your mouth - these stay hot for a long time after being removed from oven
