    List of Ingredients




    2 pounds ground beef
    2 1/2 cups shredded cabbage
    salt
    1/2 chopped green bell pepper
    1 minced garlic clove
    3 eggs
    1/2 teaspoon black pepper
    4 bacon strips
    1 can tomato paste -- (6 oz)
    American cheese slices

    Recipe



    Mix all ingredients together, thoroughly. Pour mixture into a 9 x 5 x 3" loaf
    baking pan. Place bacon strips on top. Bake for 1 1/2 hours in a 350F oven.

    After 45 minutes, you may have to drain bacon grease. During the last 15
    minutes, add tomato paste on top. Turn oven off. After 15 minutes, add cheese
    slices to top and allow to melt.
