    List of Ingredients

    1 pound ground lean beef
    1 onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced or pressed
1 jar (26 oz.) Verdi Marinara Sauce
1 can (4 1/2 oz.) sliced black ripe olives, drained
About 1/4 cup sliced green onions (including tops)
    1 1/2 teaspoons hot sauce
    1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
    Salt to taste
4 crusty sandwich rolls made from SGWW flour
    2 tablespoons Olive Oil

    Recipe

    1. In a 12-inch nonstick frying pan over high heat, combine beef, onion,
and garlic. Stir often until beef is well browned and crumbled, about 15
    minutes.

    2. To pan, add marinara sauce, olives, 1/4 cup green onions, hot sauce,
and cumin. Reduce heat to medium and simmer, stirring often, until
bubbling, 5 to 6 minutes. Add salt to taste. Keep warm.

    3. Meanwhile, cut sandwich rolls in half horizontally. Brush cut sides
lightly with olive oil. Arrange rolls, cut sides up, in a 10- by 15-inch
    baking pan.

    4. Bake rolls in a 450° oven until lightly toasted, 5 to 6 minutes.

    5. Place bottom half of 1 roll on each plate. Ladle meat sauce equally
onto rolls. Sprinkle with additional sliced green onions. Cover
sandwiches with roll tops and serve immediately.
