Grilled Steaks with Chili Salsa

List of Ingredients
6 New York strip steaks or Rib steaks (each about 6 oz. and 3/4 to 1 in.
thick )
Salt and pepper
1 tablespoon Extra-Virgin Olive Oil
2 firm-ripe tomatoes (about 1 lb. total), diced
1 medium onion, diced
1 fresh Anaheim chili, stemmed, seeded, and diced
2 cloves garlic, minced or pressed
3 tablespoons lemon or lime juice
1 tablespoon ground New Mexico or California chilies
2 Tablespoons chopped cilantro
Recipe
1. Season steaks on both sides with salt and pepper to taste. Drizzle with
olive oil.
2. Lay steaks on grill and cook, turning once, until brown to your liking,
10 to 12
minutes for medium-rare (cut to test).
3. While steaks cook, mix tomatoes, onion, diced chili, garlic, lime juice,
ground chilies, salt and cilantro to taste. Heat until warmed, but not
boiling.
4. Transfer steaks to plates and spoon salsa equally over them. Serves 6
