Sloppy Joes in the Crock Pot

List of Ingredients
3 pounds ground beef
2 large onions, very finely chopped
1 red bell pepper, seeded and chopped
1 green bell pepper, seeded and chopped
2 cans (8 oz each) tomato sauce
1 can (5 oz) tomato paste
juice of one lemon (about 2 Tablespoons juice)
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar (preferred) or substitute red
wine vinegar
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
6 packets Splenda
1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon salt
1 Tablespoon granulated garlic Recipe
Brown beef in a skillet, add chopped onions and cook until
onions are "clear". Put in Crock Pot and add remaining
ingredients. Stir thoroughly. Cover and cook on high 3-4
hours or on low 8-10 hours. I prefer mine without any bun.
Makes about 12 servings
