    Kathy's Sugar Free Vanilla Latte

    Source of Recipe

    Kathy in MA

    Recipe Introduction

I've recently discovered sugar-free vanilla lattes, but even using SF syrup doesn't cut the carbs enough for me due to the milk. Plus they're pricey! I was on the Torani syrup website (www.torani.com) looking at recipes for them,
and found a method for making them at home that doesn't require a machine. I substituted cream/water for the milk, and the result was wonderful! The Torani site has many different latte recipes, so the flavor possibilities are
endless. I would expect DaVinci to have them too. Was very filling. Here's what I did.

    List of Ingredients

    1/2 cup light cream
    1/2 cup water
2 Tbsp. SF French Vanilla Syrup (or your fav)
1/2 cup (hot) strong coffee (I brewed it double strength, and have done it
    with regular coffee and decaf)

    Recipe

In glass measuring cup, microwave light cream, water and SF syrup until very hot. (My microwave is 900W, and I did it for 90 seconds at full power). Pour this mixture in a blender and blend for a minute at the highest setting.
Pour mixture and hot coffee into tall mug or glass. You'll have about an inch of foam on the top. (I used a glass beer mug..lol) Enjoy!
