    Five Flavor Pound Cake

    1 cup butter
    1/2 cup shortening
    3 cups sugar(Splenda)
    5 eggs
    3 1/4 cup flour
    1/2 tsp baking powder
    salt
    1 cup milk
    1 teaspoon vanilla
    1 teaspoon coconut
    1 teaspoon lemon
    1 teaspoon rum

    Recipe



    Combine butter and shortening, gradually add sugar, beat well at
    medium speed. Add eggs one @ a time, beating after each addition.
    Combine flour, baking powder, salt, add to creamed mixture
    alternating with milk, begin and end with the flour mixture. Mix
    after each addition. Stir in flavorings. Pour batter into a greased
    and floured 10"pan (tube) Bake 1 1/2 hours until toothpick comes out
    clean. Cool 10 minutes, then remove from pan, cool on wire rack.
    Spoon hot glaze over warm cake.

    Glaze
    1/2 cup sugar(Splenda)
    1/3 cup water
    1/2 teaspoon almond flavoring

    Bring water and sugar to a boil. Remove from heat, add almond
    flavoring, spoon over warm cake.

    Will make 3 loaf size cakes, or 1 bundt pan, instead of tube pan.
