Recipe Introduction
DIED & GONE TO HEAVEN
1st layer
1/2 cup stone ground whole wheat flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 stick regular butter (melted)
1 to 1½ cups pecans (chopped very fine in blender)
3 Tablespoons cocoa powder
6 Tablespoons pourable Splenda
Mix together & press into the bottom of a non-stick sprayed 9 x 13 glass pan - bake for 20 minutes at 350 degrees - cool Be sure the crust cools completely before spreading the cool whip/cream cheese layer. .
2nd layer
1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
1 ½ cups Cool Whip or whipped cream
1 cup pourable Splenda
Mix together - smooth over chocolate crust layer.
3rd layer
2 small pkg of sugar free chocolate pudding mix
3 cups milk
beat until thick - put on top of cream cheese layer
4th layer
2 small pkg of sugar free white chocolate pudding
1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
3½ cups milk
1 teaspoon vanilla (use real vanilla if possible, not extract)
1 teaspoon almond flavoring
Blend pudding & cream cheese. Add milk & flavorings, blend well. Put on top of chocolate layer.
