    Mushroom-Zucchini Meat Pie

    1 egg, beaten

    1/2 c. milk

    1/4 tsp. salt

    dash pepper

    1 lb. ground beef

    1/2 c. chopped onion

    1 c. sliced zucchini

    1 4-ounce can mushroom stems and pieces, drained

    1 8-ounce can pizza sauce

    1 tsp. prepared mustard

    American or cheddar cheese slices

    In a mixing bowl combine egg, milk, salt and pepper. Add ground beef; mix well. Press meat mixture into bottom and onto sides of a 9-inch pie plate to form a shell. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 25 min. Drain off fat.

    Meanwhile, in a covered medium skillet cook chopped onion and small amount of water till onion is almost tender and water is evaporated. You may add water as needed if it evaporates before onion is cooked. Stir in sliced zucchini and mushrooms; cook, uncovered, 2-3 min. more or till veggies are tender. Stir in pizza sauce and prepared mustard; heat through.

    Spoon veggie mixture over baked meat shell; place cheese atop. Return to 350 degree oven for 5 min. more or till cheese melts.

    Serves 6
