CROCKPOT LASAGNA

List of Ingredients
1lb ground beef
1 diced medium onion
2 cloves garlic minced
2-15oz tomato sauce
1-6oz tomato paste
1 1/2t salt
1/2t crushed oregano
12oz cottage cheese
12oz lasagna noodles (uncooked)
~use the cheap ones
12oz shredded mozzarella
dusting of parmesan over top
REVISED INGREDIENTS
1lb ground beef
1lb loose italian sausage
1 diced medium onion
1t jar garlic
4-15oz tomato sauce
2-6oz tomato paste
1T salt
1t crushed oregano
1lb small curd cottage cheese
1lb ricotta cheese
1 1/2lb cheap lasagna noodles, uncooked
1lb shredded mozzarella
(I use Sargento pizza cheese)
dusting of parmesan for top
Recipe
Brown meat and onion in skillet. Add garlic, sauce, paste, salt and oregano.
Cook long enough to heat through.
Spoon a layer of meat sauce on bottom of crock.
Add a double layer of uncooked regular noodles. (Break to fit) and top with cheeses.
Repeat with sauce, noodles and cheeses until all used up.
Cover and cook on low 6-8 hours. 10 servings.
