Lemon Squares

List of Ingredients
Base:
1/2 cup ground almonds
1/2 cup Atkins bake mix
1/3 to 1/2 cup butter
1/4 cup Splenda
Filling:
2 large eggs
1 cup Splenda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
2 1/2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
dash salt Recipe
Blend ground almonds, bake mix, butter, and Splenda with
fingertips
until well mixed. Pat evenly into the bottom of an 8x8 inch
baking pan. Bake
for 20 minutes at 350 degrees.
Meanwhile beat together the filling ingredients: eggs,
Splenda,
baking powder, fresh lemon juice and a dash of salt. Pour
over baked crust.
Return to oven for 20-25 minutes at same temperature. Cool
on rack. Cut
into squares.
