Ham and Swiss Meatloaf
The original recipe says to roll it up as you would a jelly roll, well, I don't. I just layer it in a loaf pan. It seems easier to me, but if you'd rather roll it, be my guest. I put those instructions on the bottom for you daredevils :-)

- 1 t. oregano
- 1 t. celery salt
- 1 t. paprika

- Mix meat, egg, bread crumbs, milk, onion, parmesan cheese, worchestire sauce, ketchup and spices in a large bowl.
- Spread some of the meat mixture in bottom of loaf pan.
- Layer some cheese on top of meat.
- Then, layer some ham on top of cheese.
- Layer the mushrooms on the cheese.
- Repeat, ending with meat mixture on the top
- Bake for 50-60 min.
Final Comments
The jelly roll meathod: Set aside 1 c. of meat mixture. Spread remaining mixture on a large, jelly roll pan or cookie sheet (or piece of waxed paper).Make sure it is even and flat. Layer 1/2 of cheese on top of meat mixture. Then a layer of 1/2 of the ham. Next, layer with mushrooms. Finally, make a layer with remaining cheese, then the ham. Gently lift one of the long sides and slowly roll it over until you form a loaf. Everything should end up in the center. Use reserved meat mixture to seal the edges and ends of loaf.
