    1/4 cup olive oil

    1 tablespoon vegetable oil

    20 trimmed and separated chicken wings

    Dash of salt and pepper

    1 small onion, diced

    1 shallot, diced

    7 cloves garlic, chopped

    1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

    1/2 teaspoon onion powder

    1/2 teaspoon salt

    1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

    1/2 lemon

    2 tablespoon chopped parsley

    Dash hot sauce


    Recipe



    In a large, heavy skillet, heat oils over high
    heat. Add wings, sprinkling with salt and pepper
    to seal in their flavor. Fry until the wings are brown
    and cooked through.

    Add the onion and shallot. Brown. Add the garlic;
    cook until softened. Add garlic and onion powders
    and the salt and pepper.
    Toss everything together; turn off the heat.

    Transfer the wings to a large mixing bowl and
    squeeze lemon juice over them.

    Add parsley and hot sauce. Toss, making sure the
    wings are thoroughly coated. Serve immediately.
