Hong Kong Pork Chops

List of Ingredients
2 Tablespoons vegetable oil
8 one-inch-thick loin pork chops
1 medium-sized onion, sliced
1 (8-ounce) can sliced water chestnuts, drained
1 (4-ounce) can sliced mushrooms, drained
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup water
2 Tablespoons lemon juice
1 Tablespoon minced ginger or
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1 garlic clove, minced, or
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
Recipe
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a skillet, brown chops in
oil and place in a rectangular casserole. Cover with onion
slices, water chestnuts, and mushrooms. Combine remaining
ingredients and pour over chops. Cover and bake 45 to 60
minutes or until chops are tender.
