    List of Ingredients




    1 medium cabbage, chopped
    1 pound sausage (hot breakfast or hot Italian, or whatever you enjoy)
    1 28 oz. can diced tomatoes
    1 small onion, chopped
    1 medium green pepper, chopped
    salt and pepper to taste

    Recipe



    In large saucepan or dutch oven, partially cook cabbage in about 1 qt. of water.

    In skillet, brown sausage and drain. (I used hot Italian links popped out of their skins, it was very good!) Saute onions and peppers in the sausage; add sausage mix to cabbage. Add tomatoes.

    Cook for 30 minutes to an hour; salt & pepper to taste. Enjoy!

    (These figures came from my Mastercook program; I'd say they were pretty close, if not a little over the actual carb count. It's also assuming that you've split the recipe into 8 servings. It doesn't show, but it figured that there was about 2g of fiber in each serving, too!)
